The Parka

The Parka is an evolution of our early gabardine anoraks worn by pioneering explorers. Originally designed for harsh weather conditions, parkas are known for their superior insulation. Worn by rapper and actor Little Simz, the classic piece is refreshed with new shapes and Check patterns.

Inspired by our heritage of exploration, the parka is lightweight and protective.

Early iterations of the jacket were worn by explorers Major Frederick George Jackson and Sir Ernest Shackleton. Jackson sported an oversized gabardine blouson during his Arctic Circle expedition from 1894 to 1897, while Shackleton wore a Burberry anorak. Designed to accommodate multiple layers, these polar outfits offered protection in snowy conditions – ideal for those venturing into the unknown.
